Si comincia!

Primo giorno di lavoro in Intel e l'esperienza comincia davvero col piede giusto.

Appena arrivato in sede c'era ad aspettarmi il mio manager, Marcin, di origine polacca. Dopo avermi mostrato la mia postazione ed avermi presentato i colleghi ci siamo subito chiusi in stanza riunioni... dove mi ha illustrato la situazione lavorativa.
Di tutte le cose di cui abbiamo parlato e' stato davvero contento di dirmi che andremo presto, a spese di Intel, a fare surf. Non so nemmeno da dove si comincia ma sara' una figata !

Finite le chiacchiere siamo passati per il reparto IT a prendere il mio portatile e alle 11:30 ho partecipato alla mia seconda riunione, quella sulla sicurezza.

Finalmente, dopo aver pranzato ho avuto modo di prendere dimestichezza con la Intranet di Intel, tutt'altro che semplice da usare, ma si ci puo' fare davvero tutto (per quello che riguarda l'attivita' lavorativa naturalmente).

Mi hanno gia' iscritto al corso "Linux Kernel device driver development".... che figata, non vedo l'ora.

Be' per il momento e' tutto... vi tengo aggiornati.





First day of work here in Intel and it is started really in the best way.

As soon as I arrived at the site, my manager Marcin was waiting for me. Once he showed me the working area and he introduced me to other guys we went to the meeting room. We had a nice chat and he was really kind with me.
Among all the stuff he told me he was so happy to tell me about the holiday paid by Intel that we'll have soon... we'll go surfing. I don't really know how to do it, but I'm waiting for it !

Once we finished our conversation I had my second meeting with the chief of security.

Finally I had my lunch and after that I could start learning Intel Intranet application which is not so easy to use but it is a really complete application.

They have already signed me for the "Linux Kernel device driver development" and to tell the truth I really look forward to taking this course.
